Gisela Loewe
Gisela Loewe, a German artist (Heidelberg, 1957) who lives between Andalusia, Germany and Greece, proposes a photography without artifice, without retouching, based on the spontaneous observation of light in its relationship with time and space. En sus imágenes, tomadas en escenarios tan diversos como el Báltico, Berlín o Sevilla, la luz revela geometrías fugaces, composiciones naturales y escenas efímeras que invitan a la contemplación. Sus fotografías capturan instantes de equilibrio entre lo que se mueve y lo que permanece, con una sensibilidad que destaca lo cotidiano y lo aparentemente insignificante como espacios de revelación poética.
A Law Graduate, she has lived and worked as a judge in Cologne (Germany) for many years and in parallel to her legal work has also been very active in the art and design world for several decades.
She presented her first solo exhibition in Germany in 2015, and since then she has participated in several exhibitions both group and solo in Germany and Spain.
