LOS SENTIDOS EDICIONES
With the creation of Los Sentidos Editions, we wanted to tackle a new project that we believe will be useful in helping to understand the work of contemporary artists.
In its first collection, the hidden face, basically contemplates the publication of exclusively literary works by visual artists who in one way or another write, either about their work or about the world around them; critical or fictional texts that until now have remained in folders waiting to see the light. Books that will make up a collection that will be enriched over the years and that we are sure will become a reference in a field so far little explored.
Little Memories
Luis Gordillo
LUIS GORDILLO HAD A GREEN NOTEBOOK of which we knew from the artist himself that it contained one-line poems and a list of painting titles. This is not a diary but rather a heterogeneous and heterodox record of occurrences that appear as if by chance, only that the conductor through which this chance is transmitted is Luis Gordillo and his idea of literature.

Geografía para ciegos
Daniel Verbis
A Spanish painter who thinks, who writes not only essays but also verses, creative prose. And his book, GEOGRAPHY FOR THE BLIND is a collection of traditional poems, that is, written in verse. Poems arranged in space, on the blank page, symmetrically, around an axis. Acid, interrogative, doubtful, uncertain, vibratile, digressive, zigzagging poetry. The uncertainty of our time. Chaos and calm and the miraculous “dark clarity” that denotes authentic poetry.
J.M. Bonet. 2010 From the prologue of Geography for the Blind.

Moving Around
Jesús Palomino
THE MOST DIRECT INTENTION that a travel book seeks is to transmit to the reader the impressions, anecdotes and adventures of the traveler with the idea of presenting an enlightening vision of the countries or cultures visited. In the case of this book, MOVING ARAUND, the intention is not too far from that idea: to explain the relationship between travel and a certain way of understanding contemporary artistic practices and, as far as possible, to narrate the circumstances in which some of the projects have been carried out.

Melancólico Rococó
Guillermo Pérez Villalta
Like a gardener with a fine eye, Guillermo P. Villalta goes through the History of Art, always making of it a personal and even marginal reading, in its most committed sense. With these reflections on the Rococo Guillermo P. Villalta vindicates it as an authentic artistic movement in itself and not as what it was always considered: a sub-style of the Baroque, demonstrating with the purest sense of humor, that this movement not only belongs to a time in history but is a constant in all eras.

Santiago del Campo. Escenógrafo. Las Iglesias del Gran San Pablo. Sevilla
Antonio Barrionuevo
Strolling through the Seville unknown to the general public, we recognize with clear clarity the boldness of the architectural forms of the churches of the San Pablo neighborhood and their sophisticated proportions. In the sixties of the twentieth century, Santiago del Campo, a plastic artist, received a very special commission and created his exciting scenographies: “It is the first time I have to close my eyes and imagine a church, a whole church, in which all the architecture is erected but without color, without flooring and without anything. I have to coat it with light and symbology”.
This book offers us a detailed review of the surprising architectural and artistic heritage of the churches of the San Pablo Polygon in Seville.
