Jorge Thuillier
Artist and graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, Jorge Thuillier (Cádiz, Spain, 1989) lives and works in Madrid.
The work by Jorge Thuillier tries to approach concepts that are delimited between the abstract and the intangible, such as spirituality, memories or mystery.
He also shows his interest in certain aspects that underlie memory, such as vestiges of certain ancestral information that remain in the subconscious and tries to emphasize issues that have to do with nature and anthropological enigmas, but without being rigorous or scientific in nature.
In Thuillier’s work there is a clear interest in the position towards which we face any kind of symbolic language, which could be described as a paradox that takes a course towards the occult and inexplicable. A reflection of life itself that is constituted based on experiences, stages, and moments.
